Wendell G. Collier is an award winning freelance Producer, Director and Cinematographer with over 15 years experience in the television & digital media landscape.
In television, Wendell has been a Director of Photography and/or series Director on primetime documentary shows for Discovery Canada, History Channel, CBC, Food Network, and HGTV among others. His work has taken him to most parts of the world including, Ethiopia, South Africa, The DMZ of South Korea, & The Arctic Circle.
He has also developed, written and been the Director and/or Director/D.o.P. for multiple digital content properties, including projects for Starbucks, Bio-therm, NFL Canada, Jameson, The Glenlivet, Sobey's and Absolut Vodka. Wendell has also directed Regional & National broadcast Commercials for Sobeys, Nestea, & Cuso International.
As an experienced filmmaker of Mi'kmaq descent (Miawpukek First Nation) Wendell has also created films that are Indigenous-centric. In these films Wendell strives to create films that focus on current issues, cultural connections, and have a positive impact on the representation of Indigenous people in media.
A media industry veteran, Wendell brings his unique storytelling and innovative creative approach to the production design of each piece.
Currently, Wendell continues to be a key creative on various projects and has multiple projects in development with broadcasters.
